Who is sponsoring the Santa Cruz Vicariate Lenten Series?

The northern Santa Cruz County parishes of the Diocese of Monterey, California are working together to present this series.

Has Fr. Ron Rolheiser’s presentation been rescheduled?

Yes. Fr. Rolheiser will be joining us on Zoom, March 27, 7:30-9 p.m. Tickets are still available.

Can I attend online?

Yes. You can attend all the sessions online. Some sessions are online only. You can see all the presentations online and submit questions. If you have a friend who lives outside of the area, they can join the series online as well. Register for online participation here.

Blended sessions are in-person and online. When you attend in-person in the church, the presentations are also being live-streamed, just like Mass during the pandemic.

What talks are only online?

You can see three prominent national speakers online. You also get a chance to ask questions. Jesse Manibusan will be coming in from Alameda. Fr. Ron Rolheiser will be coming in from San Antonio, Texas. Br. Keith Warner will be coming in from San Diego. All other speakers will be present in the churches.

Can anyone attend?

Everyone is welcome. This series is designed to provide a broad range of topics for Adult Faith Formation. Teens, college students, and young adults are especially welcome.

Bring a friend for free. Invite your non-Catholic friends.

How do I get tickets?

Attending In-Person.

If you are coming to the church, we are requesting a $10 donation. You can pay in cash or by check. Please make your check payable to Resurrection Church. You can bring a friend for free. Please donate what you can and bring a friend. No one will be turned away. If you can make a larger donation, that would be appreciated.

Attending Online.

If you are attending online, including for the Zoom-only sessions, please register by using the links for each event listed with the presentation. We are asking for a $10 donation for each presentation you attend. We offer a two-for-one “bring a friend” discount, so find a friend to share the enjoyment and learning. Some tickets are free – or you can donate any amount to help support the presentation.
